  Been here a few times and its very hit or miss. The food is always good but the service is probably the worst in NT. Sat there with my family for 45 minutes without anyone asking us if we wanted something to drink. When we finally got waited on we sat for another hour and the food still wasnt out. Had to leave at that point. Only giving 2 stars because the perch is actually quite good.

  after friends recommending and reading reviews i expected a decent meal ... by the time we got there they were out of the perch and completely out of all sirloin i ordered the basic beer battered fish dinner ... it was awful ... nothing on the plate was good ...my companion ordered the scallops and they looked like something from mcdonalds ... my fish looked good from the outside but the inside was not cooked enough ... i couldnt even eat it ... the service was fantastic ... friendly and attentive ... at least the draft beer from the bar was good ... will never go back ... so you are thinking why didnt i return the plate, etc. ... because you know when to cut your losses

  Great place. Great food, great service, great people. I have been here many times, and will continue to enjoy a great meal, and a great evening many more times in the future.
  They have moved to 775 Oliver Street, Near Oliver and 9th st. (The old "Taggerts")

  Not sure what Dan is talking about (see review from Mar 16, 2009). I have been to Half Moon Bay at least 10 times in the past year. I have always been met with warm, friendly service and have never had to wait more than a few minutes for a drink order (my guess is 45 minutes is an exaggerating quite a bit for a rare 10 minute wait). The food is good. I recommend it!
